CHICKEN

Okay - this is another picture-less post, but it is funny, so I have to share! Jordan and I were home this afternoon, and I had brought home a roasted chicken from the grocery store. I was eating some, and Jordan was hopping around and making her "gimmee some" noises. So I peeled off a tiny shred and gave it to her - she LOVED it! She absolutely had to have more, and ended up eating quite a bit of chicken! Being the dork mother that I am, I was telling Jordan all about chicken, the different ways to eat it, and how much I liked it, and how to spell it, and the noises that chickens make, etc. etc... At one point I was even singing about chicken. In a moment of silence, I thought that I must have lost my mind... Suddenly I heard someone else singing about chicken.... I was listening to some blues, I just randomly picked "Mississippi John Hurt" out of BJs music collection (I've never heard of this guy before). Besides a wacko mommy, who the heck sings about CHICKEN???? SO WIERD!
